About Me

Hi! My name is Kim Tolbert, and I am content living the country lifestyle in Indiana along the scenic Ohio River in the Historic Hoosier Hills. I have a wonderful husband,  a terrific son, lovely daughter-in-law, a super curious grandson, and a delightfully sweet granddaughter.

I have a passion for sociology (kind of odd, I know), and I enjoy crocheting, gardening, cooking, and canning.  My all time favorite activity is card making! The best part of creating cards is sharing them with others, and encouraging them to make cards too!

I welcome you to join me on my card making journey!

Please note:

The content of this blog is my own. No manufacturers, companies, or other paper crafting outlets in any way endorse or financially compensate me for using or highlighting their products.

Many of you may recall I was a Stampin’ Up!®️ Independent Demonstrator for a number of years. My videos prior to 1 May 2024 reflect that fact, and feature only Stampin’ Up! Products. Going forward I will continue to use Stampin’ Up! products, although some may not be current. I will also use products from a variety of other sources.

My purpose in pivoting from a Stampin’ Up! Independent Demonstrator to what I call an Independent Card Maker is threefold.  First, I want to concentrate on the process of card making more than the products used to make cards. Secondly, I want to demonstrate techniques using products from various companies. Lastly and most importantly, I want to encourage you to use supplies you already have to recreate your own version of my cards / projects or inspire you to create your original creations!
