IT’S ALL IN BLACK AND WHITE - CARDS WITH LIGHTHEARTED LINES

 Hi Stampers!

Today’s cards are a little whimsical with a touch of humor, and all have a black and white color scheme.  Black and white color schemes are always a great choice for cards. These cards feature two stamp sets, WAY TO GOAT and LIGHTHEARTED LINES - both can be found in the STAMPIN’ UP!®️ 2021-2022 ANNUAL CATALOG. The cards also feature black and white DSP from the PATTERN PARTY DESIGNER SERIES PAPER. This DSP can be purchased with Stampin’ Rewards. Let’s take a look at the cards.

LIGHTHEARTED LINES

WAY TO GOAT

When I first saw LIGHTHEARTED LINES I could not wait to get my hands on it! It adds a little quirky humor in the most encouraging of ways! As for WAY TO GOAT..... how can anyone not smile at those silly little goats!

* All of the cards start with a Basic Black card base that measures 8 1/2” x 5 1/2” scored and folded at 4 1/4”.

* All images are stamped with Memento Tuxedo Black ink on Basic White cardstock. Most are matted on Basic Black cardstock.

* The images are colored with Stampin’ Blends.

* As mentioned, the DSP is from the Pattern Party DSP.

The sentiments on these two cards are the opposite. The photo above shows the inside of the cards on the right of the earlier photo.

I think this is my favorite card of the bunch. I have some very supportive friends I could send this to, believe me! 

This card is great to send to friends, but instead of the “friends forever” sentiment it would be fun to stamp “happy anniversary.” Or how about using this card to reassure and encourage your child, sibling, spouse etc. when they are going through a difficult time. Just skip the inside sentiment, and write a supportive note. 

* The image on the left was stamped using the reverse image stamping technique. (See my 15 January 2021 post for how to achieve this technique.) 

These cards also have the opposite sentiment inside. I used the reverse image stamping technique on this card as well.

If you are looking for sentiments that are a bit different from typical sentiments LIGHTHEARTED LINES might be the stamp set you are looking for, and if you want to add a bit of whimsy WAY TO GOAT is the way to go!
