SUSPENDED ANIMATION - REACH FOR THE STARS WITH TWO FUN FOLD CARDS THAT ARE OUT OF THIS WORLD

Hi Stampers!

Today I am using items from the STARGAZING SUITE featured in the current Stampin’ Up!®️Annual Catalog. I used the REACH FOR THE STARS BUNDLE (stamp set and dies) and the STARGAZING DSP to create two fun fold cards that are similar, but different. One fun fold is a tent card, the other a spinner card. Both of these fun folds feature a focal piece to be suspended on a piece of fishing line in a die cut window. Let’s take a look at the cards:

SIDE VIEW

As you can see from the side view, the main difference in these cards is the “W” shaped piece that allows the tent card to stand on its own with no sliding or other issues. There is a Basic White panel added to the back of the tent card to allow for space to sign the card, write a message, etc.

SUPPLIES FOR THESE CARD

* Reach for the Stars Bundle

* Card base - 11” x 4 1/4” scored and folded at 5 1/2” Cardstock: Tent Card -Starry Sky, Spinner Card - Night of Navy

* Cardstock for frame -3” square scrap same color as card base

* DSP - 2 pieces cut at 5 1/5” x 4”

* Stylish Shapes Dies - Circles: largest and 2nd largest

* DSP - planet design use Reach for the stars Dies, 3rd largest circle die to die cut two identical planets for focal point. Die cut and / or fussy cut pieces of planets and small planets to use to add to front of card and to inside panel for spinner card, and back panel of tent card

* Ink - Versa Mark, white embossing powder; Starry Sky for greeting on back panel of tent card, and Memento Tuxedo Black for greeting inside spinner card.

* Clear Fishing Line - 6”-8” NOTE - you can use baker’s twine or linen thread if you like

* Stampin’ Seal + Tear & Tape (strong adhesive), liquid glue (for frame)

ADDITIONAL SUPPLIES FOR TENT CARD

* Starry Sky cardstock 4 1/4” x 4” scored along the 4” side at 1”, 2”, and 3”

* Back panel - Basic White cardstock  cut at 5 1/4” x 4”

VIDEO CARD

All supplies and cutting measurement for this card are the same as above. The cardstock color is Tahitian Tide.
