In Good Taste Suite

THE SUITE LIFE

SUITES - COORDINATION THE EASY WAY!

A Stampin’ Up! suite of products is a collection of coordinating products that can be ordered using just one item number. Suites usually contain a stamp set and tool bundle (discounted by 10%), designer series paper (DSP), and other items such as embellishments, ribbon, or embossing folders.
When using products included in a suite, you can be certain every element of your cards or other paper crafting projects will coordinate perfectly. To inspire your creativity the Stampin’ Up! catalog provides a color palette for each suite of products! Coordination is just that easy!

This week I have been working with the In Good Taste Suite. The suite includes the Tasteful Touches Stamp Set, Tasteful Labels Dies, In Good Taste Designer Paper, Tasteful Textile 3-D Embossing Folder, and In Good Taste Elements. The coordinating colors for this suite are: Basic Gray, Early Espresso, Gray Granite, Night of Navy, Petal Pink, Smoky Slate, and Very Vanilla. This color palette is for inspiration purposes. As always, the products included in this suite are perfect for any color combination you choose!

Here is a peek at cards I made using this versatile suite.

Look at the great texture on the gray granite panels! I used the Tasteful Textiles 3-D embossing folder.  I love it! The texture is subtle, but makes an impact! Try it on DSP, I think you will like the results!

My take on a “joy fold” card. Many of the Tasteful Labels die cuts can be layered as you can see here.

Another sample showing how the  Tasteful Labels die cuts can be layered. I like the small wooden embellishments from the In Good Taste Elements. They add that little something that really jazzes up a simple card!

This card was created using only stamps, ink, and paper.  I used Memento Tuxedo Black ink. For the feathers, I inked my stamp, stamped off on scrap paper, then stamped on the card panel.
This card is basically the same as the previous one. I just used different colors, and switched out the feather image for the flower image. I wanted to demonstrate the versatility of the suite! If you need masculine cards, feminine cards, cards for anyone this suite has what you need. I have an idea for a kid card using some products in this suite. I will try and share that soon. This card looks textured, but it is not; it is an optical illusion. Yep, the DSP does the texturing work in this case!

There you have it! If you are looking for sweet and easy ways to make cards with everything coordinating perfectly give a suite a try! Yes, it is the “Suite Life” for this card maker!

Until next time,

Stamp Happy!

Kim
