IT’S JUST THAT EASY TIPS
FOR CARD MAKERS
COLORING RIBBON & Pearls
Have you ever been working on a card, and thought to yourself, “I wish I had ribbon to match my ink.” Well, wish no more, because your wish can be reality!
Watch this short video to see how easy it is to create custom colored ribbon and pearls in no time!
Here is a photo of the card I made:
I began with a Whisper White card base cut at 5 1/2 x 8 1/2, scored at 4 1/4. I chose a landscape orientation for this card.
The background layer is a 4 x 5 1/4 piece of Magenta Madness In Color 2020-2022 6x6 DSP.
The Just Jade mat for the focal image is from the same package of DSP as the Magenta Madness. The Just Jade DSP was die cut using the Stitched So Sweetly Dies.
The Whisper White focal panel was stamped in Just Jade and Magenta Madness using the Lovely You stamp set.
The sentiment panel was created with a 3/4 inch pies of Whisper White cardstock that was punched on each end with the Lovely Labels Pick a Punch punch.the greeting was stamped using Memento Tuxedo Black ink.
As you saw in the video, I used the Whisper White Crinkled Seam Binding Ribbon for the bow. I dyed it with a Magenta Madness Stampin’ Blend. I also colored the Pearl Basic Jewels with a Magenta Madness Stampin’ Blend.
There you have it, a couple of tips for creating color coordinating ribbons and pearls for your cards. It is just that easy!
Until next time...
Stamp Happy!
