A POST FOR YOU ABOUT
POSTED FOR YOU
Today I made this card using the Stampin’ Up!®️ set called Posted For You.
I overlooked this set when I first ordered from the current catalog. One day it caught my eye, and I am glad it did. The stamp set has a matching punch, the Rectangular Postage Stamp Punch. You can purchase the items separately, or purchase them as a bundle and save 10%! (See page 81 of the annual catalog.)
I also used another item there has not been much chatter about - velveteen paper from the Color Velveteen Paper Pack. (See page 153 of the annual catalog.) You might remember I used the Cinnamon Cider version of this paper with the Whiskey Business stamp set. Today’s card features the paper in Soft Seafoam. The paper pack also includes a sheet of Highland Heather. The paper adds a nice texture to a project.
For this card I decided to shake things up, and use a Seaside Spray card base of 7” x 6”, scored at 3 1/2“ across the 7” side. It will fit inside a regular envelope used to mail a letter. The Soft Seafoam velveteen paper is cut at 3 1/2” x 4”. The Whisper White for the focal image is 1 1/8” x 1 3/4”, mounted on a piece of Seaside Spray cardstock punched with the Rectangular Postage Stamp Punch. The image is stamped with Night of Navy ink. The sentiment is also stamped in Night of Navy on a Whisper White piece of cardstock measuring 2”x 1/2”.
I embossed the Soft Seafoam velveteen paper with the Scripty 3D embossing folder.
To finish the card I added the 1/4” Metallic Ribbon in Seaside Spray, and a few Night of Navy rhinestones from the Holiday Rhinestone Basic Jewels. Now I have a pretty birthday card to pass on to a friend or relative - it is just that easy!
I hope today’s Posted For You post encourages you to take a look at stamp sets you might be over looking, and that it provides Greatinkspirations!
Until next time...
Stamp Happy!
Kim
