Four Seasons - Three Cards

 FOUR SEASON FLORAL

THREE VERSIONS OF ONE CARD

Three of my friends are very fond of all things purple. My three friends are each very different, but share similar qualities. The same can be said for the cards I made for them.

The 3 different, but very similar cards were made using the Four Season Floral stamp set.  The stamp set can be found in the current Stampin’ Up!®️ Beginner’s Brochure entitled, Make  Beautiful Things. To view this brochure, or to shop from the brochure click on the image of the brochure on the right side of this page. Here is a a picture of the stamp set:

The stamp set stands on its own as it has both floral images and sentiments, but it also coordinates well with the Flowers for Every Season Suite. Although it is included in the Beginner’s Brochure, stampers of all levels will enjoy creating with this set.

Here are the cards I made using an image and a sentiment from the set.

For this card I started with a Purple Posy card base cut at 4 1/4”  x 11” scored and folded at 5 1/2”. I added  a Gorgeous Grape mat cut  at 5 1/8” x 3 7/8”, a Purple Posey layer cut at 5” x 3 3/4”. I cut 3 Highland Heather panels at 2 3/4” x 1 3/8”, and 4 Whisper White panels cut at 2 3/8” x 1 3/8”. I stamped the floral images on the pieces of Whisper White using Soft Seafoam ink. I colored them in with watercolor pencils, and went over the colored areas with Wink of  Stella. I die cut the circle with the Stitched Shapes Dies. The sentiment was stamped with Gorgeous Grape. I added the tricolor bow for a little bit of interest.

Here is the second card:

It is almost identical to the previous card, except the images and the mats for the are different.I die cut the pieces using the Stitched Rectangles Dies. The floral images were colored with Stampin’ Blends.

The final card is similar to the others, but the front of the Highland Heather card base was  cut three times  across the front with the Stitched Rectangles Dies. A piece of Gorgeous Grape cardstock was placed behind it to form the mat for the floral panels. The die cuts from the front of the cardstock were used to mat the floral images on card #2.

As these cards demonstrate, one layout can be changed just a little, and those little changes can make all the difference!

I hope these cards have provided you with greatinkspirations.

Until next time...
Stamp Happy!
