WHAT’S COOKIN’? USE AN EASY CARD LAYOUT TO WHIP UP A BATCH OF CARDS IN NO TIME!

 Hi Stampers!

Today I have a super easy card layout to share. With this layout you can make a quick and easy card, or jazz it up a bit! This layout works with any stamp set, any color of cardstock, and any DSP. You can orient the card as either portrait or landscape version. It is the same with the focal panel; it can be oriented either way. For the cards today I used the new stamp set, WHAT’S COOKIN’? from the STAMPIN’ UP! 2021-2022 ANNUAL CATALOG. Here is a look at the cards:

And here is a look at the stamp set:

And here are the coordinating dies:

MEASUREMENTS
The measurements for each card and basic supplies are the same:

* Card Base - Basic White cut at 8 1/2” x 5 1/2” scored and folded at 4 1/4”
* DSP - 6 x 6 DSP Brights Assortment cut at 5 1/4” x 4”
* Cardstock Mat (for focal panel) - 3 1/2” x 3”
* Focal Panel - Basic White cut at 3 1/4” x 2 3/4”

POPPY PARADE CARD

This card uses a combination of images some stamped directly on the panel, and others stamped on scrap cardstock and then die cut.
* Stamp the greeting on the Basic White cardstock. Stamp the veggies and color with Stampin’ Blends (the images are small enough Stampin’ Write markers is also an option for coloring).
* On a scrap piece of Basic White stamp the pepper grinder. Die cut it and die cut a whisk. Color the whisk.
* Adhere the focal panel to the mat. Use glue dots to adhere the die cut images to the focal panel.
* Adhere the DSP to the card base.
* Use dimensionals to attach the focal panel to the card.

PACIFIC POINT CARD

This card is the same layout as the Poppy Parade card, the card base is just turned to a portrait orientation. All the images are stamped using Pacific Point and Crumb Cake inks, then  die cut. The measuring cups and bowl are popped up on dimensionals. The spatula and rolling pin are attached with glue dots.

MANGO MELODY CARD
(This poor card had a bit if an accident. It is a bit crinkled. I will put it under a book for a day or so, and see if that helps!)

This version of the card has the focal panel in portrait orientation. The measuring cups are stamped directly on the focal panel. The salt shaker and wooden spoon are stamped with Soft Suede and die cut. The wooden spoon is attached with glue dots. The salt shaker is attached with dimensionals.

GRANNY APPLE GREEN CARD

This is the quickest and easiest of the cards! The greeting and images are stamped directly onto the focal panel. The video included in this post demonstrates how to make this card. In the video I made a Mango Melody version of this card.

Here is a look at all five cards.

When you need a quick and easy card give this layout a try! It works well with the WHAT’S COOKIN’? stamp set, and it will work just as great with many other stamp sets! I hope you give this layout a try.

Thank you for stopping by. Until next time...
Stamp Happy!
