Hi, Stampers!
Sometimes I need a birthday card (or other type of card) in a hurry; this is when I turn to a couple of my go to quick and easy card layouts. One of those layouts I call the centered panel card. This card is exactly what it sounds like; a card base with a focal panel running down the center. For today’s centered panel card I chose to use the AMARYLLIS ABLOOM stamp set from the STAMPIN’UP! ®️ JULY-DECEMBER 2021 MINI CATALOG (page 78). This stamp set can be earned with STAMPIN’ REWARDS. To learn more about STAMPIN’ REWARDS see details on page 78 of the current mini catalog, or page 170 of the current STAMPIN’ UP! 2021-2022 ANNUAL CATALOG. Here is a look at the stamp set:
AMARYLLIS ABLOOM
And here is my centered panel Birthday card:
* Amaryllis Abloom. And Pansy Patch stamp sets.
* Basic White (thick) card base 11” x 4 1/4” scored and folded at 5 1/2”.
* For the centered panel - Basic Black cardstock 5 1/4” x 2 3/4” and Basic White cardstock 5” x 2 1/2” for focal image.
* Memento Tuxedo Black ink; Stampin’ Blends - Real Red (light & dark) and Granny Apple Green (light & dark).
* Wonderful Gem - 3 of the red ones. (Or 3 Red Rhinestone Basic Jewels, or even the Black Matte Dots.)
* Real Red Sheer Ribbon.
* Pansy Patch stamp set for greeting (Happy Birthday) and inside sentiment (Wishing you a little…).
* You will also need adhesive of choice cellophane tape, and dimensiomals.
ASSEMBLY
* Stamp the floral image with the Tuxedo Black ink on the Basic White focal panel. Color in the image with the Stampin’Blends.
* Stamp the Happy Birthday above the floral image, and stamp the sentiment inside the card base.
* Adhere the focal panel to the Basic Black mat.
* Cut about 3 1/2” - 4” of the ribbon. Put a piece of tape on each end of the ribbon. Attach one end of the ribbon to the back of one side of the Basic Black mat toward the bottom of the panel, and pull it across the front of the card, attaching the other end of the ribbon to the back of the opposite side of the card.
* Cut another piece of the ribbon about 2 1/2” - 3” long. Slept it under the ribbon on the card panel, and make a bow knot.
* Use dimensionals to adhere the panel to the center of card base.
* Add the gems to the card.
That is all there is to it, a quick layout for when you need a card in a hurry!
That is all for today. Thank you for stopping by. Until next time…
Stamp Happy!
Kim
