PEACEFUL CABIN CHRISTMAS GREETINGS; A TINSEL TIME TUESDAY POST

 Hi Stampers!

Welcome to another edition of Tinsel Time Tuesday. Today we’ll take a look at the PEACEFUL CABIN BUNDLE, and two designs from the PEACEFUL PLACE DSP. This bundle provides endless possibilities for creative card making. It is great for Holiday cards, but the bundle is perfect for masculine cards, thank you cards, and thinking of you, etc.

I have three cards to share today, two feature the cabin image from the stamp set. The third card uses one of the CABIN DIES and a sentiment from the stamp set. Let’s look at the cards.

And now, a look at the stamp set and the dies.

* Adhesive, glue dots, and dimensionals.
NOTE - I used the “steam” stamp from the NOTHING’S BETTER THAN stamp set for the smoke on this card - I just liked the look.

ASSEMBLY

* Adhere the focal image to the Basic Gray mat, then adhere this piece to the Real Red mat.
* Place dimensionals on the back of the focal piece and adhere it to the center of the card front.
* Tie a piece of the silver trim in a bow and adhere it to the upper right corner of the focal piece with a rolled up glue dot.

CHRISTMAS WISHES CABIN CARD

SUPPLIES FOR THIS CARD
* PEACEFUL CABIN and SNOW WONDER stamp set (sentiment).
* CABIN DIES
* Card base - Basic Gray cut at 8 1/2” x 5 1/2” scored and folded at 4 1/4”.
* Real Red mat cut at 5 3/8” x 4 1/8”.
* DSP - snowflake pattern cut at 5 1/4” x 4”.
* Basic White cardstock - one piece cut at 3 3/4” x 3 1/2” for trees image, and a piece cut at 3 3/4 x 4” for the cabin image.
* Inks - Basic Gray and Real Read; Wink of Stella.
* Real Red Double Stitched Satin Ribbon about 4 1/2”.
* Simply Elegant Trim - silver.
* Adhesive, dimensionals, and glue dots.

ASSEMBLY
* Stamp the tree image with Basic Gray ink about 1/4” or so from top of the cardstock. (The 3 3/4” is the width of the cardstock.) Repeat with the cabin image on the remaining piece of cardstock. Just below the cabin image stamp the greeting with Real Red ink.
* Go over the tree images and the cabin image with Wink of Stella.
* Use the dies to cut along the top of the images.
* Put a bit of adhesive or a glue dot on each end of the Real Red ribbon and adhere each end to the back side of the cabin focal piece, just under the greeting.
* Adhere the Real Red mat to the card base.
* Adhere the DSP to the card.
* Adhere the tree panel centered and about 1/2” from the top of the card base.
* Place dimensionals on the back side of the cabin panel, and adhere it over the tree images. The bottom of this panel should be about 3/8” from the bottom of the card base.
* Tie a small bow with the silver trim and attach it with a glue dot to the right side of the card on top of the Real Red ribbon.

BEAUTIFUL SEASON CARD

SUPPLIES FOR THIS CARD
* PEACEFUL CABIN stamp set.
* Painted Labels Dies - wreath shape and CABIN DIES - snowflake / star die
* Card base - Basic White (thick) cut at 8 1/2” x 5 1/2” scored and folded at 4 1/4”.
* Basic White cardstock and Balmy Blue cardstock both cut at 4 1/4” x 3”
* Scrap of Basic White about 3 1/4” x 3 1/4” for sentiment piece.
* Ink - Balmy Blue.
* Adhesive and dimensionals.

ASSEMBLY
* Die cut the “wreath” shape from the scrap Basic White cardstock.
* Use the snowflake / star die to cut the shapes from the Balmy Blue cardstock several times. (Save the little cut out for a shaker card or other project I& you like.)
* Adhere the Balmy Blue piece to the Basic White cardstock of the same size. Liquid Glue works best for this. (NOTE: I adhered the Balmy Blue piece to the cardstock of equal size to give the panel just a touch of dimension, but the panel can be adhered directly to the card base.)
* Center and adhere the focal panel to the card base.
* Stamp the sentiment with Balmy Blue in the center of the “wreath.” Place dimensionals on the back and adhere this to the focal panel. See photo for placement.

There you go; three fairly easy cards made using the PEACEFUL CABIN BUNDLE. Why not give one of these designs a try?

That’s all for today. Thank you for checking out this week’s Tinsel Time Tuesday! Until next time…
Stamp Happy!
