 Hi Stampers!

Today I am sharing a Hanukkah version of the Stand Alone Fun Fold card. To see more information on Stand Alone Cards see my previous post (2 November 2021). Today’s card features A WISH FOR EVERYTHING stamp set and the STITCHED TRIANGLES DIES. Both items are found in the Stampin’ Up!®️ 2021-2022 Annual Catalog.

Here is the card:

STAND ALONE HANUKKAH CARD

A WISH FOR EVERYTHING

SUPPLIES FOR THIS CARD

* Card base - Pacific Point cardstock cut at 8 1/2” x 5 1/2” score along 8 1/2” side at 2”, 3 1/8”, 5 3/8”, and 6 1/2” OR 2” and 3 1/8” on each end.
* Basic White cut at 5 1/4” x 2” for back of card, and scrap of Basic White cardstock for greeting.
* DSP - 6” x 6” Designer Series Paper Assortment - Brights (Pacific Point) - any of the designs you like.
* Silver Foil - mirror finish.
* Pacific Point Ink
* Stitched Triangles Dies - two equal lateral triangles: the largest one and the third largest one.
* Layering Circles Dies or Circle Punch - the circle needs to measure about 2 1/4” in diameter.
* Adhesive, dimensionals, and glue dots.

ASSEMBLY

* Cut the cardstock for the card base and score the cardstock. Cut the pieces of DSP - first cut 1/2” off the 6”x 6” piece. Cut two 2” x 1/2” pieces from this.
* Die cut or punch the Basic White circle?
* Use the two Stitched Triangles Dies to cut two triangles from the Silver Foil. (See below.)

* Place the Silver Foil on the cutting plate of your die cut machine.
* Arrange the two triangle dies on top of the foil sheet with the smaller one inside the larger one, center it as best you can. Hold the dies in place with low tack tape or sticky notes.
* Place another cutting plate on top of the dies, and run this through the die cut machine.
* Repeat the process.
* You now have two triangles with open centers.

* To form the Star of David, place one triangle with a single point at the top. Position the second triangle wit the two points at the top, slip behind the first triangle, then slip it’s single point under the bottom of the first triangle. (See photo above.)
* Use glue dots to attach the two triangles.

* Stamp the greeting in Pacific Point centered on the Basic White die cut circle. Stamp the sentiment for the back of the card in Pacific Point on the 5 1/4” x 2” piece of Basic White cardstock.
* Adhere the DSP to the card front.
* Line up the greeting piece behind the star and use adhesive or glue dots to hold it in place. Use dimensionals to adhere the star greeting piece to the card front.
* Adhere the two 2” x 1/2” pieces of DSP to the 5 1/4” x 2” piece of Basic white  about 1/4” from the top and 1/4” from the bottom. Adhere this piece to the center of the back side of the card. (See below.)

This card fits inside the Stampin’ Up! Medium size envelope. I hope you give this fun fold a try.

That is all for today. Thank you for stopping by. Until next time…
Stamp Happy!
