HELLO LADYBUG - IN DETAIL

 Hi, Stampers!

Today we are taking a detailed look at the HELLO LADYBUG BUNDLE. This bundle can be found on page 20 of the STAMPIN’ UP!®️ JANUARY - JUNE 2022 MINI CATALOG or in the online store under Bundled Savings - Stamp Punch Bundles. The bundle consists of the HELLO LADYBUG stamp set and the LADYBUG BUILDER punch. As always each item can be purchased separately or purchased together in the bundle for a 10% savings. The stamp set contains 15 photopolymer stamps. The punch coordinates with two of the images in the stamp set.

Let’s take a look at some cards and a box I created using the HELLO LADYBUG BUNDLE:

And here is a look at the stamp set and punch:

HELLO LADYBUG BUNDLE - IN DETAIL VIDEO

LADYBUG 3” x 3” BOX
SUPPLIES
* Basic Black cardstock  for bottom of box, cut at 5” x 5”  and scored at 1” on each side
* Real Red cardstock for top of box cut at 5 1/16” x 5 1/16” and scored at 1” on each side - on opposite sides of the red cardstockfind the midpoint and mark with a pencil. Use a circle punch or a small circle die to cut a half circle notch. These notches will help the box open easier.
* DSP - two pieces cut at 2 7/8” x 2 7/8” each - one for top of box and one for inside bottom of box. This DSP is from Abstract Beauty in the new mini catalog.
* Scrap of Basic Black and scrap of Real Red to punch out the ladybug
* Basic White cardstock for leaves. I stamped the leaves, added some texture with the Timeworn Type embossing folder, then fussy cut them. Next I folded them in half, opened them up, and used my bone folder to curl under the edges. The leaves are attached to each other with glue dots, and adhered to the box with dimensionals.
* Ink - Memento Tuxedo Black, Garden Green
* Adhesive, dimensionals, and glue dots.

For instructions on assembling the box click HERE. The dimensions in the post are different, but the process is the same.

* Inks - Daffodil Delight, Gorgeous Grape, Calypso Coral, Garden Green, Evening Evergreen
* Artistry Blooms Sequins
* White Faux Linen ribbon from the Flowers for Every Season ribbon pack
* Adhesive and glue dots
+ Daisy Lane stamp set (flower stems) and Biggest Wish stamp set (greeting)
+ I stamped two images for each flower, punched out the images, and use a glue dot to adhere the two images together. I offset the petals.
+ I used the Medium Daisy Punch to punch out the flower images. It is not a coordinating punch. It will not leave the narrow White border around the edges of the image. It will trim off just a tad of the stamped image. See the video in the post for examples.

MEDIUM DAISY PUNCH

Let’s take one more look at the projects made with the HELLO LADYBUG BUNDLE.

That’s it for today. Thank you so much for stopping by. Until next time…
