Hi Stampers!
For today’s Stamp Happy Holidays cards we are going back to basics! Stamps, ink, and paper are the only supplies needed to create these cut and flip, flap cards! Keeping it simple doesn’t mean boring. The stamps, inks, and papers paired with an easy to create fun fold make these cards fun and festive . Let’s take a look at the cards:
I used the JINGLE JINGLE JINGLE stamp set from the STAMPIN’ UP!®️ JULY - DECEMBER 2022 MINI CATALOG to make the cards.

MEASUREMENTS FOR CUT & FLIP, FLAP CARD BASE & LAYERS
* Card base - 4 1/4” x 11” score at 5 1/2” cut at 8 1/8” the piece cut off (4 1/4” x 2 7/8”) will be flipped to landscape orientation and used as a mat for the focal image
* Focal panel and inside panel - cut 2 at 4” x 2 3/4”
* DSP - cut 2 - one at 4” x 5 1/4” and one at 4” x 2 3/8”
NOTE - IF YOU DO NOT LIKE WORKING WITH EIGHTHS OF AN INCH -
In the past when making this card I scored the card base at 5 1/2” then cut it at 8 1/4”. I chose to change the measurement a tad, because I planned to stamp the greeting diagonally. I wanted to be certain the focal panel would accommodate the longest word (believe) and the longest phrase (‘tis the season to be).
If you prefer not to work with eighths of an inch, cut the cardstock at 8 1/4” the flap will measure 4 1/4” x 2 3/4”. The focal panel and panel for the inside will measure 4” x 2 1/2”. The DSP measurements will be 4” x 2 1/2” and 5 1/4” x 4”.
