Hi Stampers!
Today I am sharing cards made using scraps of Designer Series Papers from the SALE-A-BRATION BROCHURE. For the cards I used a very simple, yet versatile card layout. The layout lends itself to being “tweaked” and works well for both portrait and landscape orientations. The second great thing about this layout is it uses smaller scraps of cardstock! Let’s take a look at the cards:
WHAT IS SALE- A-BRATION?
SALE-A-BRATION is Stampin’ Up!’s biggest promotion of the year! Product purchases of $50 or more earn you choices of free items from the SALE-A-BRATION BROCHURE! Now through 29 February 2024 for every $50 product purchase you can select one free product at the $50 level (11 products to choose from), or select from one of three products at the $100 level. Product purchase totals do not include tax and shipping.
This year’s SALE-A-BRATION BROCHURE includes 5 collections of Designer Series Papers (DSP). Each collection is free with a $50 purchase.
THE LAYOUT
The chart shows the portrait and landscape orientations for the card layout. For both options you will need:
* An A-2 cardbase - 8 1/2” x 5 1/2” scored and folded at 4 1/4” OR 11” x 4 1/4”scored and folded at 5 1/2”
* 2 pieces of DSP or cardstock cut at 1 1/4” x 1 1/4” - be aware of directional patterns
* 4 pieces of DSP or cardstock cut at 2 5/8” x 1 1/4” - be aware of directional patterns
* 1 piece of cardstock or DSP cut at 2 5/8” x 1 1/4” for greeting
* Inside panel - Basic White cardstock cut at 5 1/4” x 4”
It is easy to change up the layout by rearranging the pieces into different configurations. Watch the video for ideas on how to vary the layout.

* DSP - Trusty Toolbox - tool patterned paper - fussy cut tools of choice

Note - for this card I replaced the strips of DSP with the fussy cut tools.

Note - Cut each cardstock strip and place them in the embossing folder (except for the Parakeet Party piece)
I hope you give this card layout a try. Remember you can customize the layout to make it work best with focal images, greetings, etc.
