Hi Stampers!
Today I am sharing two card designs, an Envelope Flaps Card and an Angled Top Trifold Card. Each design features angled cuts that change up the front of the card adding a little unexpected interest. I’ll also share how to create the layers for the cards. Cards with angled cuts might seem a bit intimidating, but measuring and marking a couple of points for cutting is all it takes to create these great card bases. As for keeping the cards closed, belly bands, ribbon, or weighing the card front down with die cuts or sentiment panels. Okay, let’s take a look at the cards:

* Card base - cardstock cut at 11” x 5 1/2” score along 11” side at 3 3/8” and 7 5/8”
* Layers - patterned paper, cut 2 at 5 1/8” x 3 1/8”
* Inside Panel - cardstock cut at 5 3/8” x 4 1/8” or 5 1/4” x 4”
* Belly Band - Optional - cut cardstock at 9 1/2” x 1 1/2”

This is card is simply a modified version of the Envelope Flaps Card. The supplies are the same. The measurements are the same. The difference is you only mark and cut the 11” side along the top of the card. It is the same for the layers, only mark and cut along the top.
