DOUBLE Z FOLD AND Z FOLD WITH A BAND CARDS

Hi Stampers!

Today I am continuing my series on Z Fold Cards. Last week we took a look at Basic Z Folds, and talked about changing the scoring just a bit, adjusting the size of the flaps, and giving the card an alternative look. Today we’ll take a look at the Double Z Fold and what I call Z Fold with a Band. These two card folds are similar, but very much separate card folds. We’ll look at both landscape and portrait versions of both card folds. Let’s peek at the sample cards:

NOTE: Supplies I use are from Stampin’ Up!®️ unless otherwise stated.

DOUBLE Z FOLDS AND Z FOLDS WITH BANDS

Which version of these Z Fold Cards do you prefer? I like them all, but my favorite is the Z Fold with a Band in portrait orientation. As I mentioned. I like all of today’s Z Folds. These cards have a lot of pluses. They all fit inside an A-2 envelope, they offer a lot of panel areas - so lots of room for messages and also room for showing off those patterned papers, and each of these cards stands on its very own!!!

Last week we discussed Basic Z Fold Cards and altered the measurements to change the basics up a bit. This week we’ve looked at Double Z Fold Cards and Z Folds with Bands in both orientations. That adds up to 8 different versions of Z Fold Cards! Next week we’ll look at another way to make a Z Fold Card.
Until next time …
Stamp Happy!

Kim
