CREATING DOUBLE Z FOLD CARDS

 Hi Stampers!

In my last post I showed examples of a Basic Z Fold Card. Today I have a couple of examples of a Double Z Fold Card. The card is fairly easy to make, can be oriented as either a portrait or landscape card, and the size of the smaller card can be altered in length and / or width to accommodate larger stamps or larger DSP patterns - or just for personal preference!

Let’s take a look at card samples! The floral card is an example of the portrait orientation of the card. The shark card is an example of the landscape version of the card.

Supplies Used for the Shark Card

Shark Frenzy (mini catalog) and Zany Zebras (annual catalog) stamp sets
Pacific Point Cardstock, Basic White Cardstock, Terra-cotta Tile Cardstock, Whale of a Time DSP
Pacific Point, Smoky Slate, and Memento Tuxdo Black Ink.
Layering Oval Dies, Shark Dies
Clear Epoxy Droplets

Supplies Used for Floral Card

Timeless Tropical (annual catalog) and Happy Thoughts (mini catalog) stamp sets
Timeless Tropical Dies
Mango Melody Cardstock, Basic White Cardstock, Artistry Blooms DSP
Melon Mambo, Granny Apple Green, and Mango Melody inks

Below are templates showing the cardstock cutting dimensions and directions for scoring and folding.
Once each card piece is stamped and embellished, fold each piece as directed.

Position and center the front section of the smaller card over the front section  of the larger card, more toward the right hand side of the panel of the larger card. Adhere into place. Fold the card to help determine placement for adhering the third panel of the small card onto the third panel of the larger card. That is all there is to it!

Until next time...

Stamp Happy!

Kim
