SOAR CONFIDENTLY
When I first saw this stamp set I could not wait to get my hands on it. Once I had it I made a few cards and then it sat on the shelf for a while, and now it is retiring! So... I felt it time I take it from the shelf and ink up those stamps! I am happy with the cards I made. They will be great for a lot of the guys in my life. Best of all the cards were quick and easy to make!
All four cards were made using a Crumb Cake card base and Night of Navy ink. I often use the Crumb Cake with Night of Navy color combination for masculine cards. I kept the cards simple - stamps, ink, and paper plus some dimensionals.
I stamped the hot air balloon on scrap Crumb Cake cardstock. I used a blending pen and some Merry Merlot ink to add a bit more color. I fussy cut the balloon and popped it up on dimensionals. The DSP is 3 3/4” x 2” and the Night of Navy card base is 4” x 2 1/4”. The sentiment is from the SOAR CONFIDENTLY stamp set. I stamped “Happy Birthday” inside the card.
I stamped the balloon and zeppelin images several times on a 5 1/2” x 4 1/4” then trimmed it down to 5” x 3 3/4” and matted it on a 5 1/4” x 4” piece of Night of Navy cardstock. Once again the greeting is from the BIGGEST WISH stamp set. The greeting is stamped on a 3” x 2” piece of Crumb Cake and then matted on a 2 1/8” x 3 1/8” piece of Night of Navy cardstock. The greeting is adhered to the focal panel, and he entire piece is attached to the card base with dimensionals.
