Hi Stampers!
Today I have eight cards to share with you. The cards are all similar, but all different. I started with one stamp set (BEST DAY) and one basic layered card layout. From that first card I simply made a change here and there to create each of the other cards. Let’s look at the cards:

CHANGING UP A BASIC LAYERED CARD LAYOUT
1. Change the shape of layers / dies
2. Change the orientation of the card
3. Change the focal image
4. Change the sentiment
5. Change the color scheme
CARDS
All cards are A-2 size - 8 1/2” x 5 1/2” scored and folded at 4 1/4” along 8 1/2” side. Each card has an inside panel that measures 3 3/4” x 5”.
CARD 1- ORIGINAL LAYOUT
SUPPLIES
* Best Day stamp set - cake image
* Daffodil Delight card base
* Basic White cardstock for inside panel
* Tahitian Tide, Parakeet Party, Basic White cardstock for mats and focal images - larger scraps
* Stitched Rectangles Dies - use 2nd largest to die cut Tahitian Tide cardstock, use 3rd largest to die cut Parakeet Party cardstock, use 4th largest die to cut out Basic White cardstock. NOTE - stamp focal image and sentiment before die cutting.
* Inks - Memento Tuxedo Black; Stampin’ Blends - Orchid Oasis (light), Pumpkin Pie (light), Parakeet Party (light), Sweet Sorbet (light), Tahitian Tide (light), Daffodil Delight (light & dark); Wink of Stella - use on cake plate.
* 2022-2024 In Color Matte Decorative Dots - 3 (Tahitian Tide, Sweet Sorbet, Orchid Oasis)
* Adhesive and dimensionals
CARD 2 - SAME CARD BUT DIFFERENT DIES
SUPPLIES
Supplies for this card are the same as the card above with the following exceptions:
* Swap Stitched Rectangles Dies for thé Deckled Rectangles Dies - 2nd, 3rd, & 4th largest
* 2022-2024 In Color Matte Decorative Dots (Tahitian Tide, Sweet Sorbet, Parakeet Party)
CARD 3 - DIFFERENT ORIENTATION
SUPPLIES
Supplies for this card are the same as for Card 1 with the following exceptions:
* No dies, instead cut the Tahitian Tide cardstock at 4” x 3 1/4” cut thé Parakeet Party cardstock at 3 3/4” x 3” and the Basic White cardstock at 3 1/2” x 2 3/4”
* 2022-2023 In Color Decorative Matte Dots - Parakeet Party, Tahitian Tide, Orchid Oasis
CARD 4 - DIFFERENT IMAGE & DIFFERENT DIES
SUPPLIES
Supplies for this card are the same as for Card 1with the following exceptions:
* Stylish Shapes Dies - Squares; largest and 2nd largest. Use paper trimmer to cut a 3” square from Tahitian Tide; use the largest square die to cut the Parakeet Party cardstock, and the 2nd largest die to cut the Basic White cardstock after Stampin the focal image on it
* Inks - use all Stampin’ Blends listed for Card 1 plus Pumpkin Pie (dark) to shade cat and Parakeet Party (dark) to shade balloon
CARD 5 - DIFFERENT DIES
SUPPLIES
Supplies for this card are the same for Card 1 with the following exceptions:
* Dies used - Layering Circles Dies - largest scalloped circle for Tahitian Tide cardstock, largest circle die for Parakeet Party cardstock, 2nd largest circle die for Basic White cardstock (stamp image first)
CARD 6 - CHANGE THE ORIENTATION
SUPPLIES
All supplies for this card are the same as for Card 1 with the following exceptions:
* Change out does to the Stylish Shapes Dies - squares
* See cutting and die cutting directions for Card 4
CARD 7 - CHANGE THE COLOR SCHEME
SUPPLIES
* Card base - Polished ink
* Basic White cardstock for inside panel
* Cardstock for layers - Daffodil Delight, Highland Heather, Basic White
* Deckled Rectangles Dies - 2nd largest (use with Daffodil Delight cardstock) 3rd largest die (use with Highland Heather cardstock), 4th largest (use with Basic Wide cardstock - stamp image prior to die cutting)
* Inks - Memento Tuxedo Black; Stampin’ Blends - Polished Pink (light), Parakeet Party (light), Highland Heather (light), Pumpkin Pie (light), Tahitian Tide (light), Daffodil Delight (light & dark)
* Rhinestones Basic Jewels 3- colored with Stampin’ Blends - Highland Heather (dark), Daffodill Delight (dark), Polished Pink (dark)
* Adhesive and dimensionals
CARD 8 - CHANGE THE COLOR SCHEME
All supplies are the same as for Card 7 with the following exception
* Dies - Layering Circles Dies; Largest scallop circle die to use with Daffodil Delight cardstock, largest circle die to use with Highland Heather cardstock, and 2nd largest circle die to use with Basic White cardstock - and as always stamp image prior to die cutting.
