Have you ever seen a stamp set, decided it just did not interest you, but when you took a second look you just could not resist it? That is what happened to me with the YEAR TO CELEBRATE stamp set found in the Stampin’ Up! September - December 2023 Mini Catalog. At first I thought, “I do not need another New Year’s stamp set. When I looked again I noticed the other sentiments and really liked the birthday greeting and others. So, of course I had to have it. Today I am sharing three cards I made using the stamp set. These cards were very easy to create and took less than 45 minutes for me to design and create the three cards. Let’s take a look:

ALTERNATIVE PROJECT
If you do not make New Year’s cards, how about giving this New Year’s Treat Box Party Favor a try?
To make the New Year’s treat box party favor follow the instructions for the Festive & Fun Box Sleeve Card. Orient your images in a landscape view. For the landscape version the box that slides into the box sleeve is just a bit different than for the portrait version. Here are the cutting and scoring instructions for the box:
* Card stock - 8 1/2” x 3 7/8”
* Score at 1 1/2” on all four sides
* On each short end form tabs by cutting on score lines to next score line, cut each tab in half horizontally and miter on each edge.
* Place adhesive on tabs and adhere to back side of the 1” end tab to form a box.
This box is 1” wide and 5 1/2” long, and will hold mini Hershey bars, Dove candies, Ande’s Mints, etc. Another idea that would be fun for a New Year’s party or even a wedding is to fill it with confetti!
