Hi Stampers!
Today’s Stamp Happy Holidays project is a slider treat box. The box itself is easy to create. You can keep the decorating simple or really step it up. This is another treat box that is perfect for giving to co-workers, or handing guests as a party favor or a table favor, and of course it can be made for any holiday or occasion. This project is a great way to use up scraps of patterned paper, and is the perfect showcase for die cut or punched images. Let’s take a look at the sample projects:
HALLOWEEN, THANKSGIVING, & CHRISTMAS TREATS

TRY A SLIDER TREAT BOX TO SHARE HOLIDAY CHEER
WHAT YOU NEED
* Base -cut cardstock at 5 1/2” x 4 1/4”
* Box Sleeve - cut cardstock at 5 3/4” x 5 1/2”
* Slider Box - cut cardstock at 8 1/2” x 3 7/8”
* Stamps, Inks, Dies, Punches, Patterned Paper, etc
* Strong adhesive, dimensionals, etc.
* Candies - Kisses, Hugs, Nuggets, Doves Chocolates, etc.
WHAT TO DO
* Score box sleeve along 5 3/4” side at 1 1/2”, 2 1/2”, 4”, and 5”. Go over score lines with bone folder.
* Score Slider Box on all sides at 1 1/2”, see diagram for scoring and cutting.
* Adhere box sleeve to treat box base. Put adhesive on the seam side of the box sleeve. Line it up with the bottom of the base (5 1/2” side).
* Decorate the base and sleeve, fill box with candy and slide it into sleeve.NOTE: I use mostly Stampin’ Up!®️ products. Some products are retired and noted as such. Supplies and products from other companies are also noted as such. I encourage you to use supplies you gave on hand to create your very own versions of these projects.

* Patterned Paper - Hey Pumpkin (Doodlebug Designs) - 4 strips cut at 5 1/2” x 1/2”
* Stamp - Mash of Monsters & die (Crafter’s Companion), Bag of Bones (retired)

* Inks - Tuxedo Black (Memento), Versa Mark (Tsukineko) White Embossing Powder (WOW); Stampin’ Blends - Basic Black, Cloud Cover, Old Olive, Granny Apple Green, Soft Sea Foam, Smoky Slate, Timid Tiger, Highland Heather,Real Red, Pretty In Pink, Petal Pink

The box slides in and out of the sleeve portion of the treat holder.

As you can see, this treat box is easy to make. I cannot say it is quick, but it doesn’t take all that much time to create it. I like that it looks great when decorated for any holiday or occasion! Why not give it a try?
