Hello, Stampers! Welcome to week 15 of Tinsel Time Thursday. For today’s card I chose traditional Christmas colors (Real Red and Garden Green). The card is fairly easy to make, and the Stitched Triangle Dies paired with the Festive Corners Stamp Set makes creating it even easier!
I made this card using the Festive Corners Stamp Set and the Tree Angle Stamp Set. Both stamp sets are featured in the Stampin’ Up!®️ August - December 2020 Mini Catalog.
Here are the supplies needed to make this card:
A Real Red card base that measures 5 1/2” x 8 1/2” scored and folded at 4 1/4”.
A Piece of Garden Green that measures 3 7/8” x 5 1/8” For the focal panel mat.
A piece of Whisper White that is about 3 3/4” square for the corner triangles
A piece of Whisper White that is about 3” x 3” for the tree and the tree trunk.
A piece of Whisper White that measures 5” x 3 3/4” for the inside of the card.
A piece of DSP from Heartwarming Hugs that measures 5” x 3 3/4”.
Real Red and Garden Green ink pads - also Crumb Cake for the tree trunk.
Stitched Triangles Dies - the largest right triangle plus the triangle that coordinates with the tree image.
Stampin’ Seal or the adhesive of your choice and dimensionals.
Holiday Rhinestone Basic Jewels (I used the Shaded Spruce ones).
To assemble the card:
Stamp the tree image with Garden Green and the tree trunk with Crumb Cake (or the color of your choice).
Stamp the sentiment for the inside of the card in Real Red.
Die cut the tree image, and die cut two of the right triangles. Fussy cut the tree trunk leaving a small tab at the top to place adhesive on to attach to the tree. Stamp the “Most Wonderful Time Of The Year” sentiment on each triangle.
Adhere the inside panel. Adhere the tree trunk to the tree. Adhere the DSP to the Garden Green mat. Now adhere the triangles to the top right corner and bottom left corners of the DSP.
Attach the tree to the center of the card with dimensionals.
Add the rhinestones, and the card is finished.
I hope today’s card has provided you with greatinkspirations! Next week’s card will feature the Christmas Means More stamp set.
Until next time...
Stamp Happy!
Kim
