Hi Stampers!
Today’s post is about creating cards with no greetings or sentiments. Why would one make cards with no greeting you ask? There are several reasons I create greeting free cards. I find it comes in handy to have a stash of cards appropriate for writing short notes. When I need a card, but am short on time I can pull out a “no sentiment” card, stamp the appropriate sentiment inside the card, and it’s ready to go! When there is no sentiment on the card front there is more space for gems, ribbon, or other embellishments. No sentiment cards are great way to show off different patterns of DSP, and they are perfect for showcasing larger stamped images.
My sample cards were created using the STYLISH SKETCHES stamp set. Let’s take a look at the cards:
STYLISH SKETCHES STAMP SET
This stamp set is available for free with a $50 Stampin’ Up!®️ product purchase during SALE-A-BRATION (now through 31 August 2022).
TRIPLE THE FIGS CARD
For this card I used the “triple the image technique” allowing the images to cover a good deal of the card front. I used Pearl Basic Jewels to add a bit of balance to the card design. The Pearls are colored with a Blackberry Bliss (dark) Stampin’ Blends Marker.
