Hi Stampers!
Today we’ll look at a card layout I call 1/3 - 2/3. That’s just what I call it - helps me to remember what the layout looks like. Basically the layout consists of two pieces of patterned paper and/or cardstock used to form a focal panel that measures 3 3/5” x 5”.
So where does the 1/3 - 2/3 come in? Well, that simply means the top piece of paper is not as tall as the bottom. The two pieces can be as long or short as you like, just be sure both are 3 3/4” wide and their total length equals 5”. After that, the panel can be adhered to a mat, then a card base, or placed directly on the card base. This layout is not only very versatile, it can help you use up patterned paper scraps! Plus! There are several different ways to achieve the look. Let’s take a peak at today’s sample cards:
Select your favorite papers (look through your scraps), cardstock, stamps, inks, and other supplies, and get ready to create the 1/3 - 2/3 cards your way!
