SALE-A-BRATION DESIGNER SERIES PAPERS WRAP UP!

Hi Stampers!

Wow! February is coming to a close, and so is Sale-a-bration! In today’s post we will take a last look at the Designer Series Papers offered in the Sale-a-bration Brochure. There is still time to earn these beautiful DSPs for free with a $50 purchase of Stampin’ Up! products. I created two card layouts that feature the Sale-a-bration DSP. Let’s take a look.

The first five cards are what I call a Layered Gate Fold Card. Here are the basic supplies and measurements for this card:

* For the base and the gate fold layer - 1 piece of cardstock that measures 5 1/2” x r 1/4” and 1 piece of cardstock 7 1/2” x 5”, scored along he 7 1/2” side at 1 7/8” and 5 5/8”. Fold the score lines toward the middle of the card

*Scraps do cardstock the same color as your card base and scraps of Basic White cardstock for the sentiment

* DSP 1 piece 5 1/4 x 4” and one piece that is 4 3/“ x 3 1/2” (this DSP should be relatively light in color wit no or a very muted pattern (you can use a piece of Basic White cardstock if you like.)

* DSP 2 pieces 1 5/8” x 4 3/4” for the front panels of the gate fold card.

* Coordinating ink

* Stamp set

* Embellishments

* Adhesive

This card used the Paper Blooms DSP, Night of Navy and Basic White cardstock, Night of Navy ink, Approaching Perfection stamp set (Sale-a-bration Brochure), 

Layering Squares Dies, and the Holiday Jewels Basic Rhinestones (annual catalog)

For this card I used Rococo Rose and Basic White cardstock and Paper Blooms DSP. The ink is Rococo Rose. I used the Happy thoughts stamp set (mini catalog) and the Corner Bouquet stamp sets, and hecLayering Ovals Dies. (annual catalog)

 

This card was created using Bermuda Bay and Basic White cardstock along with the Oh So Ombré DSP. The ink is Bermuda Bay. The sentiment is stamped in Bermuda Bay ink. The sentiment pieces were die cut with the Stitched Shapes Dies. The stamp set is Happy Thoughts (mini catalog). The embellishments are the Opal Rounds.

This Thai yo card was made using Blackberry Bliss and Whisper White Cardstock. Again, the DSP is BlackBerry Bliss. The stamp set is Happy Thoughts. (mini catalog). There are some Elegant Faceted Gems. (Annual Catalog)

Granny Apple Green and Basic White cardstock, Oh So Ombré DSP, Granny Apple Green ink, Happy Thoughts stamp set (mini catalog), Frosted Epoxy Droplets (annual catalog), Granny Apple Green Stampin’ Blends marker (dark).

The following cards were created using one of my go to card layouts. I call it a Two Panel DSP Card. The basic supplies are:

* A card base that measures 8 1/2” x 5 1/2” scored and folded at 4 1/4” and one strip of cardstock that measures 1/2” x 4” Basic White or light colored cardstock 5 1/4” x 4” for inside card

* 2 pieces of coordinating DSP one cut at 2” x 4” (top piece) and one cut at 2 1/4” x 4”

* Scraps of cardstock for sentiment

* Coordinating ink

* Stamp set

* Embellishments

* Dimensionals

* Adhesive
