Hi, Stampers!
Welcome to another edition of Tinsel Time Tuesday! Today’s cards are made using a fun fold I call STAND ALONE CARDS. I created one in portrait orientation and one in landscape orientation. Both versions are easy to make, and both versions fit inside Stampin’ Up!®️ medium envelopes (A-2 size envelopes).
Let’s look at the cards:
STAND ALONE FUN FOLD CARDS
To create these cards I used the TIDINGS & TRIMMINGS BUNDLE (Tidings & Trimmings stamp set and Christmas Trimmings Dies) and the TIDINGS OF CHRISTMAS DSP. These items can be found in the STAMPIN’ UP! 2021-2022 ANNUAL CATALOG.
TIDINGS & TRIMMINGS BUNDLE
STAND ALONE FUN FOLD - PORTRAIT VERSION
* Card base - Crumb Cake cardstock cut at 8 1/2” x 5 1/2” scored along the 8 1/2” side at 2”, 3 1/8”, 5 3/8”, and 6 1/2”. (OR - score at 2” and 3 1/8” on one end, turn the cardstock around and score the same on the other end.)
* Very Vanilla cardstock 5 1/4” x 2” (layer for back side center panel - this is for stamping another sentiment, writing a short message, and signing the card.)
* Scraps of cardstock - larger scrap of Crumb Cake, smaller scraps of Very Vannila, Cherry Cobbler, and Evening Evergreen.
* DSP - cut two pieces at 5 1/4” x 1 3/4” ( layers for front side panels), and one at 5 1/4” x 2” for center panel (focal panel).
* Inks - Misty Moonlight, Evening Evergreen, and Cherry Cobbler.
* Tidings & Trimmings Bundle
* Tailor Made Tags Dies - largest tag (either design will do).
* Cherry Cobbler & Gold Metallic Ribbon (this item is found in the current Mini Catalog).
* Adhesive and dimensionals.
STAND ALONE FUN FOLD - LANDSCAPE VERSION
SUPPLIES FOR THIS CARD
* Card base, Evening Evergreen cut at 11” x 4 1/4” scored at 2 3/4”, 4 1/8”, 6 7/8”, and 8 1/4” (OR score at 2 3/4” and 4 1/8” on one end. Turn it around and repeat the scoring).
* Basic White cut at 4” x 2 1/2” for back side center panel (this is for stamping another sentiment, writing a short message, and signing the card).
* Scrap of Basic White for focal piece; small scraps of Evening Evergreen and Gold Specialty Paper.
* DSP - 2 of same design cut at 4” x 2 1/2” and one piece of a different design (focal panel) cut at 4” x 2 1/2”
* Inks - Cherry Cobbler and Early Evergreen
* Tidings & Trimmings Bundle
* Holiday Rhinestone Basic Jewels - 3 in Cherry Cobbler.
* Adhesive and dimensionals.
NOTE:
