A FESTIVE POST HALLOWEEN
Hello! Today I have some card ideas to share with you using the Festive Post stamp set. The stamp set can be found on page 63 of the Stampin’ Up! ®️ August-December 2020 Mini Catalog. The stamp set includes images and greetings for Halloween, Christmas, and Valentine’s Day. It, like the Banner Year stamp set, is a great value for all stampers especially for new stampers, as it can be used to create cards for several holidays.
Here is the card I made with Pumpkin Pie DSP.
This is another slightly different version in Granny Apple Green.
The greeting for this card is from the A Wish For Everything stamp set.
To make this card you will also need
A Basic Black card base cut at 4 1/4” x 11”, scored at 5 1/2”
Regals 6x6 DSP - Pumpkin Pie (the design with the dots) Cut at 5 1/4” x 4” and 1 piece at 3/4” x 4”Smoky Slate cardstock cut ay 4 1/4” x 3”
A small scrap of Basic Black and a small scrap of Smoky Slate
Memento Black Ink
On the 4 1/4” x 3” piece of cardstock stamp the bats image in a random pattern all over the cardstock.
On the scrap of Smoky Slate stamp the “happy” and the “birthday” using the Memento Tuxedo Black ink.
Die cut the sentiment with the Tasteful Labels die.
Die cut the mat for the greeting from the scrap of Basic Black Using the Stitched Shapes circle die.
To assemble the card adhere the 4” x 5 1/4” DSP to the card base. Center the cardstock with the bats stamped on it on, and adhere it to the DSP.
Now adhere the greeting piece to its Basic Black mat.
Use the Banner Pick a Punch to flag both ends of the DSP strip
Center and adhere the greeting to the strip
Using dimensionals attach the greeting piece on the upper hal of the card (refer to photos).
The card is complete!
