THE RIGHT TRIANGLE
AND STITCHED RECTANGLES DIES
Today I have a card to share with you I made using The Right Triangle stamp set. This stamp set debuted in the Stampin’ Up!®️ 2020-21 Annual Catalog back in June. Here is a peek at the stamp set:
When I first saw this set I thought it was okay. I was more interested in the coordinating dies (Stitched Triangle Dies), but I didn’t order either the stamp set or the dies. Then the mini catalog came out, and it includes the Tree Angle set which also coordinates with the triangle dies. After a couple of months of hemming and hawing, I bought The Right Angle Bundle and the Tree Angel stamp sets. Images enjoying playing with the stamp sets and the dies. This week’s Tinsel Thursday’s card features the Tree Angle stamp set, but for today, let’s look at the birthday card I made using The Right Triangle set:
A Whisper White (thick) Card base that is 4 1/4” x 11”, scored and folded at 5 1/2”
2 pieces of Whisper White cardstock that are about 4” x 5”.
1 piece of Whisper White 7/8” x 2 1/4” - for the sentiment
1 piece of Flirty Flamingo cardstock cut at 3 1/2” x 4 3/4”
1 piece scrap piece of Flirty Flamingo cardstock for flowers.
1 piece of Flirty Flamingo 6x6 DSP cut at 4 5/8” x 3 3/8“
Flirty Flamingo ink
Elegant Faceted Gems
Small Blooms punch
Stampin’ Seal (or adhesive of your choice)
Glue Dots and dimensionals
Stamp the Happy Birthday sentiment on the 7/8” x 2 1/4” Whisper White cardstock (the sentiment I used is from the Seaside Notions stamp set.) with the Flirty Flamingo ink.
Stamps 2 of the large triangles with the Flirty Flamingo ink on one of the 4” x 5” pieces of Whisper White. Die cut them and die cut two more triangles from the other piece of Whisper White cardstock. Adhere the stamped triangles to the other die cut triangles. (I did this to make the stamped images just a bit more sturdy. Place several dimensionals on each triangle, then adhere them to the top and bottom corners of the DSP.
Put some adhesive on the back of the sentiment, and place it between the two triangles.
Adhere the focal panel to the Flirty Flamingo cardstock, then adhere the entire panel to the cardbase.
Punch out 5 flowers using the Small Blooms punch. Using the glue dots arrange them on the card , then add a gem to the center of each flower.
I hope this card provides you with greatinkspiration!
Until next time...
Stamp Happy!
