TINSEL TIME THURSDAY CARD # 18!

Hello, Stampers! Can you believe December is here?  Christmas is just 3 weeks away! I know Christmas might look and feel a bit different this year, but there are some things that will be the same - like making great Christmas cards and mailing them to family, friends, colleagues, service providers, and others. I hope your card making goals have been reached - or soon will be! I have one more Christmas card to share with you this season. It features the Cherish the Season stamp set and the ‘Tis the Season DSP.

Here is a look at the stamp set. The stamp set can be purchased alone or bundled with the coordinating dies for a savings of 10%. The dies are a great addition to the stamps, but for this card I chose not to use them.

Here are the supplies needed to complete this card:

*A Garden Green card base that measures 5 1/2” x 8 1/2”, scored and folded at 4 1/4”.
*A piece of Cherry Cobbler cardstock that measures 4” x 5 1/4” and a scrap piece cut down to 3/4” x 3 1/4” and another piece that measures about 3” square.
* A piece of Whisper White cardstock that is about 3”square, and a piece that is 3 3/4” x 5” for the inside of the card.
* A piece of DSP (the bells) that measures 3 3/4” x 5”.

*Cherry Cobbler and Memento Tuxedo Black ink.
*Stampin’ Blends - Cherry Cobbler (combo), Shaded Spruce (combo), Mossy Meadow (light).

*Stitched Shapes Dies largest square (measures about 2 3/4”).
* Layering Squares Dies (measures 2 1/2”)

* Stampin’ Seal or adhesive of choice.
* Dimensionals
* Metallic Pearls - Silver

To put together the card:

Stamp the dual bell image on the 3” x 3” piece of Whisper White using the Memento Tuxedo Black ink.
Color the image with the Stampin’ Blends. There is no Garden Green Stampin’ Blends, but I have found combining the Shaded Spruce with the Light Mossy Meadow is a close match.

Die cut the scrap of Cherry Cobbler with the Stitched Shapes Die, and die cut the bell image with the Layering Squares Die.

Adhere the bell image to the Cherry Cobbler mat.

On the strip of Whisper White stamp the Merry Christmas in Cherry Cobbler. Adhere the sentiment strip to the strip of Cherry Cobbler. Place the sentiment strip a bit above the Cherry Cobbler piece.

Adhere the Cherry Cobbler mat to the Garden Green cardbase. Adhere the DSP to the Cherry Cobbler mat.

Stamp the inside greeting in Cherry Cobbler on the  3 3/4” x 5” Whisper White cardstock. Adhere it to the inside of the card.

Place dimensionals on the back of the focal image and the greeting. Position them on the front of the card.

Place a few of the metallic pearls on around the card. And the card is finished.

As I mentioned at the beginning of this post, this is the last Christmas card I will be sharing with you this season. But, Tinsel Time Thursday is not over quite yet! Next week I will share some Christmas gift tags that feature a variety of stamps, dies, and punches!

I hope today’s card has provided you with greatinkspirations.

Until next time...

Stamp Happy!

Kim
