WINDMILL TREAT BOX

I put together this little treat box after seeing a similar one on a fellow Stampin’ Up! demo’s blog. Her name is Carole Parsons and here is the link to Carole’s blog post MAGNOLIA’S PLACE.

Here is what you will need to create the treat box:

* 1 die cut of windmill blades in color of choice; if using white I suggest using Basic White Thick
* 2 dies cuts of windmill details
* 2 die cuts of windmill shape - I stamped the tulip field image on Basic White in Pacific Blue, then die cut, but you can use any cardstock or DSP you like
* 2 more die cuts of windmill shape in coordinating color - these will be used to cover up the back of the windmill.
* For the box you will need a 3 1/2” square of cardstock scored at 1” on all sides. Clip and miter the corner pieces, and put the box together

Adhere the detailed windmill to the windmill shaped image. Place a brad through all three pieces, and secure the brad

Attach several dimensionals to the back side of the windmill, allowing room for the brad to move freely

Adhere the coordinating windmill shape to the windmill

Use liquid adhesive or adhesive of choice to attach the windmill to the box.

Construct another windmill and adhere it to the box.

Thereyou go, you now have a window treat box!

* Stampin’ Up! brads can be found on page 143 of the annual catalog. The package contains black and white brads in two shapes; round and square. The white brads scan be colored with Stampin’ Blends alcohol markers to add color.

As you can see, the Tulip Fields Bundle offers endless possibilities for creativity!

That’s all for today. Thank you for stopping by, until next time…
Stamp Happy!
